How to get to the city of Nanjing Several international cities such as Singapore, Hongkong have direct flights to the city. If there is no direct flight to Nanjing, the closest international airport is city of Shanghai. From Shanghai, one can take either a train or bus to city of Nanjing. There are 4 buses from Pudong airport to Nanjing about every 2 hours. The last bus leaves the airport around 6:40 pm (18:40). It usually takes about 5 hours. There are about four daily (11:20, 13:20, 15:10, 16:40, 18:40) at Gate 19. The price is 122RMB (about US $15). For your convenience, the conference plans to rent a bus or minivan on June 2 to pick up conference delegates at Shanghai Pudong international airport If the demand is high.
