MA241, some differential equation knowledge is helpful, but not essential. Knowledge of NCSU eos/unity environment: www, mail, a text editor, etc. Some programming experience is helpful.
Class participation and attendance (15%). Homework (65%). Homework usually is due before 5:00pm, the Friday of each week! A final project (20%).
Mainly Matlab, Unix operating system(Math. Computer Lab.) and/or NT window system (HA314). A text editor, e.g. NEdit, Matlab editor etc.
