Expertise: Drip irrigation design and management, Sustainable vegetable crop cultural regimes, Specialty crops, lettuce, melons, leguminous crops and sweetpotato.

Primary Job Responsibilities: My program revolves around extension and applied research of vegetable crops, especially lettuce, melons, leguminous crops and sweetpotatoes. I am primarily responsible for training agents and facilitating the work that agents do with growers. My work often involves problem solving and collaboration with other departments and universities to solve these problems. My appointment is 100% extension. I am coordinator of the NC Specialty Crops Program and part of the management team.
