Freedom Flight

                     Wings beat, muscles flex
                        feathers ripple, talons stretch
                     Winds flow, currents rise
                        eyes focus, today's prize

                     Clouds rush, maximum dive
                        distance lessens, senses alive
                     Sudden jerk, life stilled
                        prey's blood, stomach filled

                     Muscles bunch, legs tense
                        wings spread, upward lift
                     Power fans, rising height
                        current choice, life flight

                     Soaring sky, scanning field
                        freedom flows, life fulfilled
                     Air's breath, warming sun
                        nature and you, all and one
