Father's Day

                 Dads are the most forgotten breed
                    not meaning for them there is no need 
                 Though seeing how they are treated by those around
                    it makes you think their importance has no ground.

                 Everyone can tell you when Mother's Day falls
                    but asked about Father's Day, they can't recall
                 Children and fathers take mom out to eat
                    leaving dad to spend his day incomplete

                 Raised we were by a wonderful pair
                    knowing it took two to get us somewhere
                 Mom to cuddle and point us the way
                    while dad corrected and for us helped pay.

                 Since I've failed in my attempt to ask;
                   "Would a Parent's Day be such a hard task?"
                 I take this time to say;" to me you are dear,
                    not only on this day, but the entire year! "
