Directions for those guest artists NOT parking behind Price Music Center.

If you are arriving early in the day for rehearsals et cetera, and Dr. Waschka DID NOT ask you to park behind Price Music Center, you can get a parking pass from a visitor parking booth for $2/day.

Please follow these directions:

From I-40 eastbound: Take the Wade Avenue exit (#289). The road will look like more freeway, but just keep going. You will pass the RBC Center on your right.  At the third traffic light, turn right onto Faircloth Street. Continue to the next traffic light, turn left onto Hillsborough Street. At the Bell Tower, turn right into the campus on Watauga Club Drive. Turn right onto Pullen Drive and continue to the traffic circle. Turn right on Stinson Drive from the traffic circle and go down the hill to the visitor parking booth to purchase a visitor parking permit ($2/day). Since construction has closed some lots, please tell the attendant that you are going to the Talley Student Center, and ask where the closest available parking is located. The best place to park (now, because of construction) would be on the east side of, and next to  Reynolds Coliseum. It is highly unlikely a spot will be available there. Ask if you can use the tag to park in the Coliseum Parking Deck, also known as the Cates Avenue Parking Deck. If so, that will be the second-best place.

From I-40 westbound: Take the Gorman Street exit (#295) At the bottom of the exit ramp, turn right onto Gorman Street, and continue to Avent Ferry Road. Turn right on Avent Ferry and continue across Western Boulevard onto Morrill Drive. Turn right on Cates Avenue. Turn left on Pullen Road. Just after you pass Brooks Hall on your left, go three-quarters around the traffic circle,  turn on to Stinson Drive and go down the hill to the visitor parking booth to purchase a visitor parking permit ($2/day), as above. Since construction has closed some lots, please tell the attendant that you are going to the Talley Student Center, and ask where the closest available parking is located. The best place to park (now, because of construction) would be on the east side of, and next to  Reynolds Coliseum. It is highly unlikely a spot will be available there. The Cates Avenue Parking Deck is also known as the Coliseum Parking Deck in order to enhance confusion.
