Grading:

3 tests 60% (20% each); Final exam 25%; quizzes 15%. The +/- system will be used.

Students are expected to arrive on time and to stay until the class ends. The attendance policy is consistent with the Academic Regulations which can be found at http://www.ncsu.edu/policies/academic_affairs/courses_undergrad/REG02.20.3.php In addition, the following clarifications are used in this course: A student may take a makeup exam the week following the scheduled exam provided an excuse consistent with the above referenced NCSU academic policy is presented to the instructor.
