Gettysburg National Military Park (GNMP)

The National Park Service has continuously upgraded the park road system since the park came into existence in 1873.  When visiting the park an alert visitor will notice unit monuments that seem to be misplaced or facing the wrong direction.  In a number of instances these "misplacements" came about due to roads being rerouted.  This set of linked pictures documents the current state of a major road rebuilding project by the Park Service that made significant changes to the Little Round Top and BigRound Top road system.
