Shuai is currently a PH.D cadidate at statistics department of NC State University. His research interests include Biostatistics, Bayesian adaptive design, variable selection, Data mining and Statistical Finance. Thesis title:Variable selection and inference after modeling for semi-parametric treatment effect estimation (In preparation)
Based on the semi-parametric framework, we investigate how to use shrinkage variable selectors to improve the efficiency of the treatment effect estimator and how to make inference correctly after modeling. An empirical version of sandwich formula is established, and two new resampling-based algorithms for inference are proposed.
