Favorite Books Regardless of how hectic life becomes, I always find time to read. In addition to regularly reading The New Yorker, I read a lot of fiction. My taste is somewhat eclectic: my favorite authors include William Faulkner, John Gardner, and Neil Gaiman. As I read books that I find particularly enjoyable or worthwhile, I will add them to this page. As time permits, I'll compile a list of old favorites at the end. Fiction The Book of Flying by Keith Miller Crash Diet by Jill McCorkle Digging to America by Anne Tyler Lisey's Story by Stephen King The Effects of Light by Miranda Beverly-Whittemore The World to Come by Dara Horn The Last of Her Kind by Sigrid Nunez Plum Wine by Angela Davis-Gardner The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime by Mark Haddon Emma Who Saved My Life by Wilton Barnhardt The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger American Gods by Neil Gaiman Doomsday Book, or anything else by Connie Willis The Golden Gate by Vikram Seth Growth of the Soil, or anything else by Knut Hamsun Kristin Lavransdatter by Sigrid Undset Nonfiction The Tipping Point by Malcolm Gladwell Iron and Silk by Mark Salzman
