Stephen Francis May
About Me:
I am currently a graduate student in Mathematics at North Carolina State University
in Raleigh, North Carolina. My research,
conducted under the advisement of Dr. Ralph Smith,
focuses on reduced-order modeling of smart material systems.
I received my MS in Applied Mathematics from NC State in
December 2006.
I hope to finish my PhD in Applied Mathematics in the summer
of 2010.
I graduated from Franklin
& Marshall College in 2004 with a BA in Mathematics
and a minor in Economics. During my time at Franklin
& Marshall, I met Lindsay May
(then Lindsay Hilbert). We were married on June 4th of 2005.
Outside of school, my interests include playing and watching sports.
I especially enjoy watching Penn
State football. I love visiting new places with
Lindsay and spending time with friends and family.
