Answers for Old Final Exam. Corrections:


1. Part I problem 6. The answer should be y=6(t^2)e^(-2t)+e^(-2t).
2. Part 1 problem 7b. The answer has an arithmetic mistake. When s=-2, the equation should be 8-6+4=C(-1). This changes the values of the constants to A=3, C=-6, B=-1. Therefore the correct answer is y = 3e^(-t) - e^(-2t) - 6te^(-t).
