Homework

The graded homework for the course consists of WebAssign (log-in here) and Maple (log-in here). All grading is done online and late submissions will not be accepted. If you have questions, don't hesitate to email me.

PLEASE NOTE: The only assigned homework for the course is what is listed above. This is the absolute minimum you should do. On your own, you should do all problems (or at least as many as you can) from the recommended problems page (including those specifically mentioned in class). There will be time for discussion of these problems in class. Note that all problems listed here are odd and so have solutions in the back of the textbook.

Supplement

Sections 7.7, 7.8, and 7.9 will be covered in class. These sections are found in a supplement that should have come with the course textbook. If you do not have this supplement, the content can be found on the book's website, at http://www.stewartcalculus.com/media/3_inside_topics.php. See the "Second Order Linear Differential Equations" file for Section 7.7 content, "Nonhomogeneous Linear Equations" for 7.8, and "Applications of Second Order Differential Equations" for 7.9.
