Personal Information:

I was born in Sanford, Florida and attended UNC as an undergrad. I worked in the tax department of KMG Main Hurdman in St. Petersburg, Florida for a few years before returning to school at the University of South Florida and Arizona State University. I have lived in Raleigh, North Carolina and have been on the faculty at North Carolina State University since 1989. I am a member of Greystone Baptist Church in Raleigh where I am a deacon and an on-and-off-again member of the choir. I have been married for over 20 years and have one daughter.
