Hi. This is Robert L. Watson's homepage. I am a 3rd year graduate student at North Carolina State University, working toward my Ph.D. I earned both my B.S. and M.S. in math at The University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK. My interests are: Symbolic Computation, Abstract Algebra, Linear Algebra and Lie Algebras.

Last Summer session I taught MA111: Precalculus Algebra and Trigonometry.

This session I am teaching MA121: Elements of Calculus. If you are one of my students, you can find relative material under this link.

In the past I have taught: MA107, MA111, MA121, and MA231.

  • MA792K: Maple Linear Solver Here

  • A collection of the frequent references and handouts I've used in my courses: Here (Under construction)

  • Some useful (and not so useful) links I use: Here (Under construction)

  • All my LaTeX templates (Under construction)

  • Miscellaneous software I've written. (Under construction)

Miscellaneous Non-Mathematical Links of Interest (MNLI)

  • Urban Exploration.

  • Evil Editor. A blog I like to keep up with.

  • Gentoo Linux is a powerful and highly customizable operating system that I use on both my systems (desktop + server). It also requires some Linux know-how to get running properly. The Gentoo Forums is a good resource for help and ideas.

  • Ubuntu Linux is another good OS which is easy to try out and/or install.
