Evil Editor. A blog I like to keep up with.
Gentoo Linux is a powerful and highly customizable operating system that I use on both my systems (desktop + server).
It also requires some Linux know-how to get running properly. The Gentoo Forums is a good resource for help and ideas.
Ubuntu Linux is another good OS which is easy to try out and/or install.
