Bio

I am a graduate student at North Carolina State University. Before arriving here I earned by B.S. (2004) and M.S. (2006) in Mathematics at the University of Tulsa in Tulsa, OK.

My wife, Elizabeth, is a librarian and graduate of University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (A House Divided??). Our cat, Milton, being wise in the ways of politics, remains neutral.

We (Elizabeth and I, not the cat and I) were married on 7th July, 2007 in Spokane, WA (Her home town).

My brother, Joe and his wife Cecilee live in my (and their) hometown in Houston, TX. Joe is the philosopher and aggie (which in Texas means Texas A&M University). He currently teaches 11th-grade US History and coaches swimming.

I'm a creative-type person. Outside of the Mathematics world I usually have several side projects in the works. Over the course of the past couple years I wrote a series of four novels. I'm currently teaching myself how to draw using a digitizing tablet.

Samples of everything have been posted online at this link.

When time and money allows, my wife and I enjoy travelling. My next hobby may be photography. I always have a camera with me.
