Assistants
Opportunities for graduate (MS, PhD) work involving coastal
ocean observing and modeling research are available. The duties of the RA include participating research cruises,
visualization and analysis of oceanographic data sets, performing model simulation and
diagnosis, and preparing results for written report and journal
publication.

Research Associates
The minimum requirements of the position
include a degree (MSc required, Ph.D.
preferred) in either oceanographic, atmospheric, earth
or computer sciences, and extensive experience using the windows,
Linux/UNIX operating systems and Fortran programming. Experience with Matlab is desirable. Preference will be given to
candidates with experience operating general circulation models and
windows and Linux workstations administration.
