Title: Monique Deck
DejaNews Thread
For newsletter purposes I'm trying to build a deck round Monique, universally
accepted as the worst 5-cap vampire in the game. However, she is also the
only 5-cap vamp with aus and ani, so it struck me that she could be the best
blocker in the game if she could get atonement and superior versions of both
disciplines [as many as possible, really]. So here is my initial, totally
unplaytested stab at such a deck. Please let me know what you think! This
deck will be featured in the April Gangrel anti newsletter where i will
acknowledge contributions. Thank- you!

Obviously the idea is to get Monique out and atoned, and then to shift
retainers onto her via Heidelberg. Plan B is that the deck contains enough
little vampires to mount an early-game bleeding onslaught. And before anyone
tells me, i KNOW that intercept is a shit strategy, but hey, this is MONIQUE
we're trying to find a use for, 'k?
Legbiter's card idea for revitalising intercept:
The Shining aus reaction card, cost 2 blood. Useable by a tapped vampire.
That vampire untaps and has +1 intercept. Superior: as above, and once during
the current action this vampire may burn x blood to cancel an action modifier
card played by the acting vampire, where x is the blood cost of that card.
