Xiang Liu received his MS degree in biology from South Dakota State University. His previous research includes molecular biology of plant & insect interaction, Agrobacterium-mediated soybean transformation, and plant breeding and genetics. Currently he is a Research Specialist and lab manager in plant molecular systematics lab of Department of Plant Biology at NCSU, and doing research on molecular biology of flower development and Agrobacterium-mediated transformation in dogwood plants.
