I wrote these pages so they would work just fine in at least Netscape 1.1 and lynx. Also, I don't like counters, signs that say "under construction", useless buttons/ribbon campaigns, stuff that takes too long to load, and backgrounds that make the foreground unreadable. If you love all of these things then continue to surf the other 99% of the web. :(

However, I do like text, ascii-art, and compatibility. Also I'd appreciate a consistent look when I have time. If you don't understand this, then maybe this will help: I also like UNIX. :)

(Oh, and if you're wondering about the one animated button, wonder no more: it is an animated gif, in 256 colors (like it should be) and it doesn't loop. Sure, it's a button, but I made it myself, and there isn't a campaign. (Except for perhaps the GIF comment. But who reads those?) As for compatibility, I'm glad that lynx doesn't show that button. I mean, it's just clutter, as befits a graphical browser... :)
