A postdoctoral position is available beginning on or after October 1, 2007. The research project includes the hydrothermal and flux syntheses of new metal oxides and metal-oxide/organic hybrids. Applicants should have a strong background in solid-state characterization methods (powder and single crystal XRD, UV-Vis, SEM/TEM, TGA, etc.), and preferably, experience in solid-state electron structure calculations.
