THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WIDESPREAD SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO DEVELOP TO
OUR WEST AND MOVE INTO CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA LATE THIS
AFTERNOON... CONTINUING INTO THE NIGHT. A FEW OF THESE STORMS MAY
PRODUCE DAMAGING WINDS OVER 60 MPH. LARGE HAIL AROUND ONE INCH IN
DIAMETER IS ALSO POSSIBLE. THE HIGHEST RISK OF STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS WILL BE BETWEEN 3 PM AND 10 PM IN THE WESTERN PIEDMONT
INCLUDING THE TRIAD REGION AND ALBEMARLE... BETWEEN 6 PM AND 1 AM
IN THE TRIANGLE REGION... AND BETWEEN 8 PM AND 4 AM IN THE COASTAL
PLAIN INCLUDING ROCKY MOUNT AND FAYETTEVILLE. LOCALLY HEAVY 
RAINFALL... WITH RATES OF ONE TO TWO INCHES PER HOUR... ARE ALSO
POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND TONIGHT.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WILL DEVELOP SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
SUNDAY EVENING... WITH THE GREATEST COVERAGE EAST OF HIGHWAY ONE.
AS THESE STORMS MOVE QUICKLY TO THE NORTHEAST... DAMAGING WIND
GUSTS OVER 60 MPH AND QUARTER SIZE HAIL WILL BE POSSIBLE... MAINLY
BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12 NOON AND 9 PM.

FOR SUNDAY NIGHT THROUGH FRIDAY... HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS NOT
EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
