Format:  Each student will present a 3-5 minute commercial advertisement similar to those seen on American television.  Please bring an object as a visual aid to reinforce your message (no digital media).

Oral proficiency objectives include demonstrated ability to:

    1) use effective thought groups to enhance comprehension

    2) exhibit mastery of rhythm through the use of proper word, phrase, and sentence stress

    3) use content word focus with reduced stress on function words

    4) Use contractions and reduced forms when appropriate
