Oral Part of Quiz

Select five words that are difficult for you to pronounce.  You can choose from words that we have identified in class or that have been corrected in your recordings feedback.  On the Wimba Voice Board record these five words. Then record a sentence using each word.  It is IMPERATIVE that you type your words and sentences in the text field of the voice board.  If you fail to do so, you will not receive credit for this section. This recording must be submitted NO LATER THAN midnight Tuesday, March 1. (15 points)

1) Listen to the dialogue.  Fill in the blanks with the missing words. (22 points)

2) -ic endings (-ic, -ics, -ical, -ically) (10 points)
Mark the main stress on the words below with -ic endings.

3) -s endings
Indicate the sound of the -s ending ( /Iz/ or /z/ or /s/ ) beside each word. (10 points)

4)-ed endings  (10 points)
Indicate the sound of the -ed ending ( /Id/ or /d/ or /t/ ) beside each word.
