About Me
I am Research Associate/Post-Doc at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC and completed my doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering in Dec. 2005. The bulk of my work was related to the design and development of the simulator fREEDA . In particular, it involved the analysis and modeling of noise: thermal, shot, phase and 1/f or flicker noise in electrical circuits. Visit the publications page to see some of my work and obtain a copy of my dissertation.
I grew up in Bombay/Mumbai, India and have been living in the South-Eastern United States for close to eight years now. It has been a very interesting experience so far.
Research Interests
- Multi-physics simulations.
- Electrical and electromagnetic co-simulation to better understand and model co-site interference problems.
- Modeling of noise in non-linear circuits in the time domain for use in a general purpose state-variable based multi-physics simulator.
- Time series analysis of random power-law noise and 1/f noise.
- Nonlinear physical device modeling using state variables.
