I have no papers published at this time, but I am a co-author on a paper that has been submitted to Communications in Algebra.
I also participated in editing the Free High School Science Texts. I helped edit the maths text. I believe that the current textbook scheme for public education is flawed. Math, in particular, has changed very little in the last 50 years (if any); even in graduate courses, the same core material is being taught. But every couple years publishers are pushing new books to buy at outrageous prices. I believe that calculus can be successfully taught using 10 year old text books. Or twenty year old text books, for that matter. The only difference will be color graphs in newer books. I'd like to help more, and I plan on becoming much more involved when I get more time (after graduation, I suppose).
