Research Funding
The graph below shows the dramatic increase in the annual new research grants awards in the mathematics department since the late 1970's. The increase is a reflection of the increased activity of the faculty in research. The Center for Research in Scientific Computing was another important factor. The data for this graph was supplied by Ray Fornes, Associate Dean for Research in CPAMS.
