Because the format for the course does not dictate coverage of certain topics for given days, the only real deadline for completion of a reading is before the associated hour exam date.

The schedule specified in the syllabus is thus intended as a series of (good) suggestions about how to pace your reading.

In case you would rather do without those suggestions, here is an alternative display of the required readings.

The total quantity of reading required for the course is fairly modest. But, my long past experience tells me, the vast majority of students will need to read this material far more carefully than they have ever read anything before.

You are required to follow an embedded link only if that link is marked "REQUIRED READING."

Of course, the syllabus itself, as well as the material pertaining to the dualism quiz, are also "required reading" for anyone who prefers to pass the course. If you prefer not to pass the course, you may ignore all of this material.
