My research interests include security and privacy. I am interested in doing applied research in software security with a focus on empirical software engineering.
I have been working as a Lecturer for almost five years (2006 - 2011) prior to coming for PhD. I remained the faculty adviser for the Women Engineers Society (WES) at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute (GIKI)

I did MS in Computer Engineering from Kyung Hee University (KHU)
, South Korea. My masters thesis is on service delivery in context-aware middleware
My bachelor degree is in Software Engineering from National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST)

, Switzerland and CALTECH
, USA for my undergraduate project and worked as a research intern at CERN for about 2 months. I worked on DIAMOnDS
project on creating a distributed, service-oriented mobile agents framework.
