Hello and welcome to my home page.
Since you took the time to find this site I might as well tell you a little bit about myself. I am a fifth year grad student in pure mathematics under Dr. Tom Lada. I received my master's degree from NCSU in December of 2007, and am currently working toward completing my Ph.D. I am funded as a graduate teaching assistant, but have the privilege of teaching my own classes. Although my time at State is winding down, I plan to continue down the path of an academic as a professor in the near future.
Prior to arriving at NCSU, I attended Fairfield Univeristy in Fairfield, CT, where I double majored in math and computer science and received my BS in 2004. I was born and raised in New York City in the fine borough of Queens. My entrance into this world was conveniently situated 1.5 miles from William A. Shea Municipal Stadium.
I love baseball, but also enjoy many other sports. Some may think I am a masochist when it comes to choosing my teams, as can be seen by my love of the Mets, Jets, and NC State athletics in general. I'm also an optimist, as can be seen by my ongoing support of these organizations, which often times involves an endless existential search for oneself.
I tend to take on random sports such as racquetball, and am currently being courted by those in the disc golf world. The achievements of my colleagues have also inspired me to start running, and I'm currently working my way up the ladder with a 10k as my next goal.
On this site you'll find both personal and professional material via the above links.
