Greetings
I am currently organizing a new conservation genetics laboratory at the North Carolina State Museum of Natural Sciences’ Research Lab site. The lab is currently functional and operating at full capacity. Because of this, we are recruiting interested volunteers/interns who are interested in hands-on opportunities & experiences with genetics studies.
We are currently seeking volunteers/interns in the Raleigh, NC area who are interested in conservation genetics research to help with our funded projects. If you are interested in working with NC species of conservation concern, please contact me directly. Our current projects involve freshwater fishes, mussels, and snails.
I’d be glad to explain what it is that I do and how you might be a part of it.
