Guidelines for Testing for MA 242.601

All tests will be administered by the NCSU DELTA Testing Services. If you live within 50 miles of NCSU then you are expected to take your tests on the NCSU campus at the DELTA testing center in Cox Hall. If you live more than 50 miles from NCSU then you may arrange for a remote proctor.

Proctored Testing: There is a three day window for taking each test. Proctored tests will be given on the day listed on the day-by-day MA 242 schedule ,or one day early or one day late. If an exam is scheduled for a Friday, then you may take the exam on either the Thursday before or the Monday after the scheduled test.

ALL PROCTORED TESTING MUST BE ARRANGED WITH DELTA TESTING SERVICES AND MUST ADHERE TO THE FOLLOWING RULES.

Local Proctoring
The Delta Testing Center (for hand written testing) is located in the 2nd floor of Cox Hall on the main campus. All exam appointments are now made by the students online, and everything a student taking their exams at the DELTA Testing Center will need (directions to the office, link to the online scheduling system, parking instructions, office hours, etc) is located on the Local Proctoring page of the DE website. The Local Proctoring page URL is http://distance.ncsu.edu/students/localproctor.html

Appointment times are on a first-come, first-served basis, and students are strongly encouraged to schedule their exams at least a week in advance, especially during finals when we are at 100+% capacity for several days.

Remote Proctoring
Students outside of a 50-mile radius are allowed to use a remote proctor instead of coming into the DELTA Testing Center. All information on this process is found at ther Remote Proctoring page (http://distance.ncsu.edu/students/remoteproctor.html).
You must have your remote proctor APPROVED by DELTA Testing services, so take care of that as soon as possible.
