Elizabethan Gardens LogoNC State Horticultural Graduate Assistantships

Two Master of Horticultural Science (MHS) Assistantships are available through the NC State Department of Horticultural Science.  

Each assistantship will include tuition and a stipend as well as living expenses and salary for a required 6 month internship at the Elizabethan Gardens at Roanoke Island, NC.


These assistantships are funded by the NC State legislature as a part of a package supporting collaborative programming that will provide technical and horticultural assistance and program development for the Elizabethan Gardens and the northeastern coastal region of NC,  as well as graduate training opportunities.  


A broad range of projects will be possible including landscape design, development of educational materials and web resources, propagation of coastal native plants, and others.
