Organizations, Institutes, and Government Agencies
1.  International Association of Antarctica Tour Operators
     http://www.iaato.org/
The IAATO states itself as "A member organization founded in 1991 to
advocate, promote and practice safe and environmentally responsible
private-sector travel to the Antarctic."  Their membership includes
companies in the US, Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Chile,
Germany, Great Britain, Japan, The Netherlands, and New Zealand.  This
website offers guidance for both tour operators and visitors.  It also
contains links to information about the history of arctic tourism,
tourism statistics, and scientific contributions by the IAATO.

2.  Australian Antarctic Division
  http://www.aad.gov.au/goingsouth/tourism
This website "..collate(s) information on on-going non-government
programs as an aid to the continued discussions and considerations...of
human activity in the Antarctic and the subantarctic."  This site gives
a lot of information about the current and future status of tourisim in
this region.  It includes visitor guidelines, a listing of tour
companies, planning and management information, and reports and papers
from the Anctarctic Treaty Consultave Meetings. The AAD is a part of
Australia's Deptartment of the Enviornment and Heritage.

3.  The Antarctica Project
  http://www.asoc.org
This is a website dedicated to conservation in Antarctica.  They
campaign on a number of issues, but mainly they are trying to get
Antarctica managed as a World Park.  However, tourism is only one of
their concerns in Antarctica. The user must sort through thier other
issues to find  information about tourism.  It is also obviously biased
and doesn't have a lot of scientific reports listed to back their
claims.  It is still helpful in identifying some of the concerns about
tourism in Antarctica.
