Career Search is useful for identifying companies that do the type of work you are interested in (i.e., Software Development companies is Atlanta). 
Once you determine good leads, visit their websites and apply online, search the ePack Employer Database to see if we have a contact listed. Follow up directly with the ePack recruiter to check the status of your application.  Instructions for conducting search in Career Search are listed below.
 

 Searches

  1. Click here  to access the page, and create your own account, using the client referral: wolfpack04
  2. Once you're logged in, Select US Search. The Search screen displays with the Industries list showing.
  3. Choose from the following search criteria options: Start with industry, and include location if your search yields too many results.

    Industries
    Refines searches for companies based on industry data:
      • From an industry and sub-industry list
      • Using Standard Industrial Classification codes (SIC) or North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes
      • By products and services
      • By industry size
    Locations
    Refines searches for companies based on location information:
      • By state
      • By region (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, etc.)
      • By metro area (in and around a selected city)
      • By ZIP code radius (within a specified number of miles of a particular ZIP code)
      • By county (select state, then county)
      • By map (navigate using a U.S. map)
    Keywords
    Refines searches for companies based on keywords. Lets you specify:
      • Areas of a company's information to search (contact title, for example)
      • Whether to match either all words or any word
      • Whether or not to use the CareerSearch thesaurus to add synonyms
    This part of the interface also allows you to specify other search criteria like:
      • Ownership Type (public, private, or either)
      • How long ago the company was founded
      • Headquarters vs. all locations
      • Information included (E-mail, URLs, contacts)
  4. Use the selections under industries to refine your search to a particular industry or industries. Refer to Specifying Industries for more information.

    Note: As you make selections, the information is saved as you move from screen to screen. To view a summary of your selections at any time, select Search Summary.

  5. Select Locations. The Locations screen displays.
  6. Use the selections under Locations to refine your search to a particular area or areas. Refer to Selecting Companies by Location for more information.
  7. Select Keywords. The Keywords screen displays.
  8. Use the selections under Keywords to refine your search based on words or other information in the company description. Refer to Using Keyword Searches for more information.
  9. When you are finished making Industries, Locations and Keywords selections, click Search Summary to view a list of your selections. The Search Summary screen displays.
  10. If you would like to modify the search criteria, click Edit above the column that you want to modify to return to the appropriate screen.
