
I am a graduate student in
Mathematics
at
North Carolina State University in Raleigh, North Carolina. I received my MS in Applied Mathematics from NCSU in December 2006.
I am working towards my PhD in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Computational Mathematics. My current position is Research Assistant and I am working with Dr. Michael Shearer.
We are modeling particle size segregation in granular materials under nonuniform shear.
I graduated from
Franklin & Marshall College
in 2004 with a BA in Mathematics and German. I was also a member of the Women's Soccer Team.

While at F&M, I met Steve May, and we got married in June 2005.
I love to play soccer and volleyball, but will gladly play tennis, football, or pretty much any other sport (with no guarantees about my proficiency).
I enjoy watching baseball, football, soccer, and college basketball. I cheer for the
Phillies,
the
Eagles,
and
PSU.
