Section 4.1 Related Rates:

· Try both of the related rates worksheets

· Examples p.260-261: 11, 13,15,16, 26

Section 4.2 Maximum and Minimum Values

· Examples p. 268: 3, 4, 29,31,37,41,43,47

Section 4.3 Derivatives and the Shapes of Curves

· You should be able to find the domain of a given function, find its intervals of increase/decrease, find its maxs/mins, where it is concave up/down, its inflection points, and be able to draw it.

· Examples p. 280: 21,23,27,29,33,35 (For non-polynomial problems I will give you the simplified 1^st and 2^nd derivatives)

Section 4.5 Indeterminate Forms and L’Hospital’s Rule

· Be able to find limits of indeterminate products, powers, etc.

· Before using L’Hospital’s Rule you will need to verify that it applies.
