MA 121 Elements of Calculus

Make sure that you obtain the course DVD's along with your text.
Check your NCSU Unity e-mail regularly for course announcements.
We will cover the material in the text through Chapter 6. There will be 4 take-home tests (or assignments) which may be found below as pdf files. As you complete a test, mail it to me at the address below.
In addition, there will be an open notes final exam that you will take on campus (or at another approved testing site). The exam will be given on August 6-August 7. I will provide more information about the final exam later.
Grading Policy: Take Home Tests 65% of grade, webassign 10%
Final Exam 25% of grade
There are no specific due dates for the assignments; work at your own pace in order to complete the course by August 5. A suggested schedule is
Assignment 1 after Chapter 1- June 5
Assignment 2 after Chapter 3- June 26
Assignment 3 after Chapter 4- July 17
Assignment 4 after Chapter 6- August 3
Make sure that you complete the indicated chapters before you attempt the assignments.
