MA 103-601            SPRING 2013

Welcome to MA 103.  During the semester, you will mail in 4 assignments to me; these will count for 70% of your grade. At the end of the semester, you will have to take a final exam (open notes) on campus or with an approved proctor. I will provide more information about the final exam later in the semester.

The text book for the course is: Excursions in Modern Mathematics, 7th edition, by Tannenbaum

Pace yourself to complete the course by April 26. You should view 3 lectures per week to remain on schedule..  

 

The due dates for the assignments are
Assignment 1 after Chapter 2 - February 1
Assignment 2 after Chapter 4 - February 22
Assignment 3 after Chapter 6 - March 22
Assignment 4 after Chapter 8 - April 15


The final exam will be given on May 1 - May 7 at the DE Proctor Center at your convenience during that time period. If you require a remote proctor, contact the DE Proctor office early in the semester to make arrangements.
