Research Interests
My current research interests are Peer to Peer (P2P) systems and network security. Especially I'm currently working on freerider prevention techniques in P2P systems
 
Biography
I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at North Carolina State University since 2005 Fall. I received my BS degree in the Department of Computer Science from the Korea Military Academy and my MS degree in the Department of Computer Science from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) in Seoul and Taejeon, Korea respectively.

After I finished my BS degree, I worked for 39th infantry division of Korean Army as a platoon leader for 15 months. After my MS degree, I worked for the department of computer science at KMA as an instructor and assistant professor for about 3 years and also worked for 23rd infantry division of Korean Army as a company commander for one and half years.

Currently, I am under the advise of Dr. Douglas S. Reeves.
