Read Chapter 17 (2 Thessalonians, Colossians, Ephesians, 1 & 2 Timothy, Titus)
Tues,

Read both Chapter 18 and the end of Chapter 9 that we never read [p.147-156] (1, 2 and 3 John)
Remember to think about these questions as you read Ch.18 (from class on Monday)
1. What was the role of women in Jesus' ministry?
2. What was the role of women in Paul's ministry?
3. How do ancient "ideologies of gender" help explain the change in women's roles as the church developed? (you will want to understand what those ancient understandings of gender were!)

In class today we will cover the 6 epistles from Chapter 17, and the three from Chapter 9.
