I had thought SGI would be going public with their STL web site much sooner, but they have been pretty busy (there was another C++ committee meeting this month and leading up to that some issues like STL allocators were being hotly debated.) Anyway, you can now get to their pages as described in the message below. They have made quite a few improvements since the version I had.
