There are a few different ways to get to Citi Field, but the most popular and by far the most efficient way to get to the game is to take the New York City Transits 7 train. Not only is it the quickest way to the field (30 minute train ride from Times Square!) but isnt it popular to be going green now?
Besides the obvious green advantages of taking the train to the game, riding the train to and from the game allows for the best pre and post game atmosphere. Do you know that buzz that radiates through the seats of Citi Field right before the first pitch? That sound of excitement and anticipation for our favorite team to take the field? Well imagine that squeezed into a packed subway train. To me, it is the only way to get to the field and it is even better after a big win. Just follow the purple line on the map:
