Final Exam is Friday May 2, 1:00-4:00 pm in HA 266

This week will be mostly devoted to reviewing for the final exam, which means you basically get to decide what we do each day! Start studying early so that you can come to class prepared with topics you'd like to review.

Don't forget that the extra credit assignment (worth LOTS of extra credit!) is due the last day of classes: Friday April 25

Note: VCL allows you to use Maple from your own computer without purchasing a copy! I have personally never used it, but many students last semester told me it was extremely helpful. Please don't ask me questions about it, because as I said, I've never used it. Maple is also available on any UNITY computer on campus.

Extra Help & Tutoring Options:

There are MANY ways to get help with this material. It is your responsibility to recognize when you need help and to seek it out. Other than attending office hours and asking questions in class, here are some options:

• Did you miss a class, or did the lecture move too quickly for you? You can watch videotaped lectures for this course (not taught by me) online. These include Maple labs.
• Are you looking for problems with full solutions to help you find where you're going wrong? Do you wish you could get some hints on problems similar to the homework? Do you want to take practice quizzes to make sure you understand the material? Your Stewart Calculus book has a website designed specifically to help you with all of these things!
• The Mathematics Multimedia Center (HA 244) is a very valuable resourse -- you will find free tutoring, Maple consultants, and videotaped lectures.
• Free tutoring is also available at the Undergraduate Tutorial Center (1005K Ricks Hall Addition)
• Many graduate students are available for private tutoring (this can be pricey, but it's worth it if you really need the personal time!)
