Puerto Rico!

I am a fourth year graduate student here at NCSU, where I am currently seeking my PhD in Biomathematics. I graduated from Gettysburg College in Gettysburg, PA where I received a B.S. in both "Biochemistry and Molecular Biology" and "Mathematics".

Ever since I was an undergraduate student, I have been overwhelmed by the ways that mathematics and biology are intrinsically intertwined. I think that a lot of information can be obtained when we combine the worlds and use mathematical modeling to make biological predictions. While I find almost any aspect of mathematical modeling interesting, my current research examines the bioenergetic flow around the human body, using a compartmentalized approach.
