ENG 333 Communication for Science and Research

I am writing to submit my résumé for a summer intern position as a Web Technologist, referred to online as requisition number CB97BA26. My previous academic and co-op experiences have made me the most suitable candidate for this position.

As you can see from my résumé, my previous work experience has prepared me for this position. I have had lots of experience with Web related activities. I have installed, configured, and maintained a Web server for both the Software Development Lab at NCSU and for the MGSC at IBM. I am the Web Master of the home pages for both the MGSC Department at IBM and for the Navigators at Duke. I have acquired lots of programming experiences. I wrote CGI's for IBM and developed the Mechanical Technology Center Product Manager for one of IBM's departments. I had the opportunity to experience the software engineering development process and write C++ code during a co-op with Federal Express. These experiences have sufficiently prepared me with the qualifications necessary for this position.

This summer internship would give me the opportunity to apply my knowledge while broadening my experience. I really enjoy jobs that challenge me to use my abilities to their fullest potential.
