The USDA-ARS maize breeding and genetics program at NCSU aims to understand and exploit the vast diversity of maize found worldwide to enhance the genetic base of the U.S. corn crop.

We are part of the USDA-ARS Plant Science Research Unit and are located at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, NC, in the Department of Crop and Soil Sciences. We are affiliated with the NCSU Center for Plant Breeding and Applied Plant Genomics
