We are in the process of collecting data on the two rubrics used for the Multimedia Mania contest. The older rubric was used to evaluate entries in the 2001 MM contest. The winning projects are being re-evaluated by
graduate students in a multimedia course using the new rubric to determine the reliability and validity of the instrument. The scores from the older rubric used in 2001 and the scores from the new rubric used in
2002 will be compared. At this time there is not a significant number of evaluations using the new rubric to compare. Data collection will continue until sufficient numbers of evalluations are collected and the data
can be analyzed. Results will be posted on this web site.
