Effective Evaluation Measures of Multimedia Projects

You will be introduced to a number of different rubrics used to evaluate the quality of multimedia projects designed by K12 students, the strengths and weaknesses of selected rubrics, and how they may be altered to suit their needs based upon the goals they have for their students.  The participants will also be introduced to the rubric associated with the Multimedia Mania annual contest, the reasons underlying each rubric component, and additions and/or improvements to it in recent years. Over time the validity of the rubric has been tested with the hundreds of projects submitted for the contest.
