Suppose you are going to submit a NSF proposal to request funding for your thesis research and its extensions.
Write a 1-page project summary for this proposal. Make sure to pay close attention to the review criteria.
Talk to your advisor about this. You may have to spend a lot of time thinking about the impact of your results, possible extensions as well as
potential applications. Also consider the possible impact of your research on education.
